Wonderful World 4

Wonderful World 4 is an online English programme for children and students that expands vocabulary and consolidates the more complex grammar structures learned so far. The course is suitable for children who already have a foundation in English and are ready to move on to more confident and independent use of the language.

The online lessons combine clear explanations from the teacher, structured exercises, interactive tasks, speaking practice and materials that present the world in an interesting and accessible way. The coursebook is full of curious facts and topics that spark students' imagination and interest in different countries, cultures, people and natural phenomena.

After completing Wonderful World 4, students will be able to:

• read and understand adapted texts of up to about 200 words;
• structure different types of sentences and express their ideas more clearly;
• use personal and possessive pronouns correctly;
• work with countable and uncountable nouns;
• use the gerund and modal verbs in the right context;
• talk and communicate about events in the present, past and future;
• use simple, continuous and perfect tenses according to their level;
• pronounce difficult letter combinations more accurately and use appropriate intonation and sentence stress;
• take part more confidently in conversations and discussions on familiar topics.

Writing skills

In the online course, children will practise writing different texts in English. With the help of the teacher, examples and clear guidance, they will be able to create:

• a letter;
• an email;
• a postcard;
• a poster;
• a short report;
• a composition of 90 to 110 words.
